Rare Machines is an independent publication. We collect only what we need to run the site and the newsletter waitlist. We don’t sell personal information.
What we collect
- Your email address when you join the newsletter waitlist (the newsletter has not launched yet).
- Advertise or contact inquiries you send (name, email, message).
- Basic analytics and server logs (pages, IP, user agent) to operate and improve the site.
How we use it
To hold waitlist addresses and, once the newsletter launches, send the newsletter you asked for; to answer inquiries; to prevent abuse; and to understand what people read. Reading the site doesn’t require an account.
Sharing
Vendors that host email, analytics, and the site itself may process data on our behalf. We don’t sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.
About this site
We are not an auction house. We don’t take bids, host lots, or copy auction photos or listing text. Our links go to the seller or auction house. See About and Terms.
