Debut seasons rarely look this finished. Gary Anderson’s Jordan-Ford 191, Pepsi’s 7-Up green, Cosworth HB V8s, and a paddock that underestimated Eddie Jordan until the results arrived — Autocourse called the half-year impact myth-busting for a reason. Seven chassis carried the 1991 constructor campaign that landed Jordan fifth in the standings. Chassis 191/3 is among the strongest of that set in period results: Bonhams’ race log credits Andrea de Cesaris with fourth in Canada, fourth in Mexico, sixth in France, then a British GP retirement after rear suspension failure. Canada also delivered Jordan’s first World Championship points (de Cesaris fourth, Gachot fifth). That is a works F1 car with a specific race record, not a show car in tribute livery.

What happened after Spa’s near-miss mythology belongs to sister cars and the wider team story — Schumacher’s Belgian debut was not in this chassis. What matters for 191/3 is continuity: acquired directly from Eddie Jordan in 1992, one owner since, preserved essentially as repaired show-car specification rather than a ground-up historic racer rebuild. Note: the Ford HB is not installed. The package includes gearbox, side radiators, dampers, brake hardware, instruments, and other original components; a correct HB and recommissioning sit with the buyer. That holds the condition score down without affecting scarcity or provenance.
